Uptime monitoring

Uptime monitoring that tells a blip from a real outage

Statusvane checks your websites, APIs and servers around the clock, confirms a failure before it pages anyone, and puts the result straight on your status page. One tool for knowing, alerting and telling customers.

What you get

Checks for everything you run

Paste a URL, a host:port, an IP or even a curl command, and the right check is picked for you.

HTTP and API checks

Status codes, response time, keywords and JSON assertions, with custom methods, headers, bodies and authentication. Test a check once, with timing phases, before saving it.

TCP, ping and DNS

Watch ports, hosts and DNS records for databases, mail servers, game servers and anything else that isn't a web page.

SSL and domain expiry

Get warned well before a certificate or domain expires, once per threshold instead of every day.

Heartbeats for cron jobs

Backups and scheduled jobs ping a unique URL when they finish. When a ping doesn't arrive on time, you hear about it.

Checks from several regions

Run HTTP, ping and DNS checks from Globalping probes in several cities and only alert when enough locations agree. Remote probes can check services inside your own network.

Third-party status

Follow the status pages of the vendors you depend on, such as your cloud, CDN or payment provider, next to your own monitors.

How it works

Alerts your team won't learn to ignore

  1. 1

    Confirm before alerting

A first failure is re-checked within 30 seconds and shown as “confirming”. Only a confirmed failure opens an alert.

  2. 2

    Reach the right person

Email, Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Mattermost, Telegram, ntfy, Pushover, PagerDuty, Opsgenie and signed webhooks, with on-call rotations and escalation policies.

  3. 3

    Stay quiet when it should

Maintenance windows mute the monitors they cover, a flapping guard stops alert storms, and anyone can acknowledge with one click.

Good fit

One place for monitoring and communication

Monitoring and the status page share the same data, so they never disagree.

  • Websites and online shops
  • REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Servers, databases and mail infrastructure
  • Cron jobs, backups and queues
  • Game servers (Minecraft, Steam games, FiveM and more)

FAQ

Uptime monitoring questions

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Get in touch.

How often are my services checked?
Each plan has a minimum check interval, listed on the pricing page. You choose the interval per monitor, from that minimum up.
Where do the checks come from?
Standard checks run from our own checker, which identifies itself with a Statusvane user agent. Multi-region checks run on Globalping probes, and remote probes run inside your own network. The /bot page lists the details for allow-listing.
Can AI agents or scripts manage monitors?
Yes. A REST API with scoped API keys and a built-in MCP server let scripts and assistants create monitors, check status, open incidents and post updates.
Do I need a status page to use monitoring?
No. You can keep the page private or hide it from search engines and use the monitoring and alerting on their own.
